Jaguar XJ13 ~ 1966 ~ Autoart
The XJ13 was supposed to be the Jaguar's new Le Mans car. Sadly the XJ13 was never raced and the only chassis that was built still exsists today and is probably worth many millions. It should have raced against giants like the Ferrari 330P or the Ford MK IV but it never had this chance.
Autoart's 1/43 scale model representing this racing cat is a great model. All the details are present and the car's body and shape are ok. The paint is also good and the interior of the car, as well as the engine are very well detailed.
What I don't like are the tailights wich are just painted and, also, the engine bonnet which has a see-through glass is acutally just a big piece of transparent plastic which had it's edges painted in green and under light this detail becomes visible and this looks cheap in my oppinion.
Overall, the Jag XJ 13 is a great model and if you like the real car you should add it to your collection as it is worh it in the end.
